FEMALE IMAM? Comments? Actions?Hellooooo OOOOOOOOO I Seeee

Have you ever heard about Dr. Amina Wadud? If you still remember, Dr. Amina Wadud is the who had created controversy at the Islam and Aids International Conference held in Kuala Lumpur in May 2003. Her paper: "Vulnerabilities: HIV and AIDS" was excluded from the conference due to its irrelevancy and contradiction with Islamic principles. Another fact about her is that she was one of the helped founder of one NGO in Malaysia namely Sisters In Islam. For me personally, both of these parties are trying to influence Muslim opinion while disregarding the fundamental elements of religious practices.

Astaghfirullah al-azim.. Now, she (Dr. Amina Wadud) comes up with another controversial issue. She 'sial'ly (I'm not so sure the exact English word for Malay word of 'sial') want to be the first woman to lead a public, mixed-gender Friday prayer and also deliver the Friday sermon. Is there any new fatwa that 'halalizing' this stupidity? Bear in mind, this is one of the agendas of 'Islam Liberal' movement - the current issue discussed in our country. So, my their respected brothers and sisters in Islam, let us beware of all these nonsense and be steadfast with the true religion of Islam! Knowledge ('ilm) is the most powerful shield from all these deviations. Remember.. Badaa Islamu ghariban, fasaya'udu ghariban kama badaa, fatuba lil ghuraba'..
