Alhamdulillah.. just finished the 4 days break.. thank god, we didnt decided to go camping or picnicing somewhere in PD or Pangkor , the news reported that the traffic was the worst..
anyway.. adik adik did insist on having some activities to spend during the hols..since bukan senang nak gather all 10 of us.. plus the in laws.. all 12.. macam biasa, everytime nak ke mana mana for family gathering, we have to get an approved budget and tentative from abah.. Ifah led the team and drafted the paper work... theme: Agogo Ayeye .Mak commented that it's not islamic..and assured that Abah won't agree with it..sosial sangat..so that is when, my sisters added to the new theme : Agogo Ayeye Alhamdulillah .
budget was then approved.. But the venue was to PD.. we tried calling the hotels and resort to no avail, but all was fully booked.. so mak came up with a back up plan.. She even changed the theme to : rehlah ruhiah (read :an ustazah's theme) eheh.. we sticked to the previous one... naughty us.. but the venue changes to a one day picnic at Sungai Congkak...All of us had our own chores and responsibilities. I was suppose to be the referee, but refused to with the 37 weeks belly..
so the picnic turned out terrific!!!.. we hadnt have such family day for quite along time due to Abah's busy hours and holidays which does not synch all 10 of us.. and that very morning, we went there.. and had great fun.. people must have mistakenly think that we were from 3 families.. hahah... 3 cars!!.. plus my sis in law diana and another half-son of the family (muttaqin) following us, we infact conquered the river as we had sukaneka in water.. I was mainly in charge of food and the barang barang..tak sentuh air pun...:P . mak pulak didnt want to join the play.. "malu..semenjak menjak dah nak jadi nenek" she claimed.. Abah had the best of his time trying to finish writing his book..
anyway..to sum up... memang best rehlah tu.. :) balik aje..semua terbongkang.. keletihan.. next year will have another family gathering.. and two additional family members are to join.. makin besarlah keluarga Dr. Mohd Ali and Pn. Hani...:)
